Schedule a presentation for your next faculty or staff meeting or special gathering. Presentations can be given about United Way and the life changing work we do through many programs and collaborations throughout the community. Presentations can fit any time-frame, audience requirement, and may be scheduled during the work week.
Types of speakers available?
- Community Volunteers – Volunteers who are connected to the work of United Way of Greater Lafayette as board members, committee members, and community volunteers
- United Way of Greater Lafayette Staff Speakers – UWGL staff available to speak about our work in the following key focus areas:
o Ensuring Children and Youth Succeed
o Increasing Financial Stability of Individuals and Families
Taking staff on tours of agencies will help illustrate the needs of the community and how the work of United Way of Greater Lafayette is making a difference.
- Tours of agencies are a great way to see firsthand the work of United Way of Greater Lafayette through its partnerships in the community.
- What is the process for requesting speakers and tours?
o Discuss what your needs are with the Purdue United Way director.
o Determine length of time you have available.
o Decide location
o Schedule the meeting location and time
o Agree on type of presentation and if necessary, any audio-visual equipment
