Peer/Union Counseling Program

What is the peer/union counseling program?

The Peer/Union Counseling Program is a part of our Labor Relations and teaches interested persons about the human service programs available in our community and how to use them. Participants will learn how to listen and communicate with others, evaluate problems, and make referrals to community agencies where assistance is available. Participants will learn the what, where and how of our community resources.

Everyone with a desire to help others is invited and enouraged to take this program that is offered in partnership between the Lafayette Chapter of Northern Indiana Area Labor Federation, AFL-CIO and the United Way of Greater Lafayette!

Preregistration IS required. 
The cost of the 10 week training class is $60, which includes all materails nessecary and a ticket to the graduation banquet. 

Graduation Banquet will be held on Friday, April 21, 2017 to celebrate your hard work and the lives that can be molded through this program.
