Education is the cornerstone of individual and community success. In Tippecanoe County, 45 percent of incoming students are not prepared for Kindergarten. When these children enter our schools, they are already 12 to 14 months behind their peers. This is a challenge, but our community is ready to help. We know that investing in our children and families early is the best way to make a brighter future for Greater Lafayette.
If local children start school ready to learn, they have a better chance at being successful through school and graduating from high school, which ensures our community's continued success.
